Had a late work day today! The doors to our car door had a problem again this morning and made us late getting out of the house. I've been hanging out with my cousins and my boyfriend pretty much all day after work andddd we're making cookies! We decided to make chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter blossoms! I'll have the link to the recipes down below.

The chocolate chip cookies are good but they did end up kinda being a weird melt-in-your-mouth texture but they're really good! I used baking powder in place of baking soda just because I've seen other recipes with baking powder and I figured I would try it out! Also, I weighed the flour and sugars out which may have been another reason they turned out with that texture, but if you follow the recipe it should be better. And I don't use nuts in my chocolate chips! We just used the original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. :)

We followed the recipe and didn't change anything. We used the cup measurements and we didn't weigh anything. :) We left the cookies in until they were brown, which was wayyyyy more than 5 minutes, and then we put the hershey kiss in :)

I had a pretty good day today, aside from the work part! I got to hang out with my boyfriend and my wonderful cousins and we danced around and laughed and had a good time! :D That's about it for today so thanks for reading, if you got through all this rambling about cookies!
