Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my wonderful readers!
I hope everyone stuffed their bellys with tons of scrumptious food!
And! I hope everyone had a great and stress free Black Friday!
I had to work an 11 hour shift today at Gamestop, 7 in the morning to 6 at night. (Tomorrow I work an 8 hour shift) Whew! But, when I got off my wonderful, amazing, fantastic, sweet Josh got me Starbucks and he bought me an early Christmas present ....Hitman! :D We played a little bit of it tonight and so far it's pretty awesome! When I get further along I'll post more of an in depth review :)
Anyways, back to Thanksgiving! I was off on Wednesday so my momma and I baked and cooked yummy stuff all day! First off we started with the turkey, 22 pounds! We cleaned it out, dequilled any of the quills that were left and all that blah blah...and then we danced with it.
Then we seasoned it with sage, paprika, garlic, oil, white cooking wine, and some other secret ingredients! (Can't give away the secret!) We also put lemons and oranges inside for flavor and for the acidity to break down the meat and make it nice and moist!
Then we stuck let it marinate overnight in all of the yummy spices in the fridge.
Next up we started making the pumpkin pie! I don't have the process for all of it, just the finished product of the pies and the pie cupcakes we made with the extra dough and filling before we baked it. I made 4 pies and I got 6 cupcakes out of the leftovers! :)
We used this recipe! : Click here for pumpkin pie!

Then we started on the chocolate chip cookies! :) Here's the end product...we had a lot more that were made after this picture..I ended up making 3 batches! I can't reveal my cookie recipe...it's a secret as well!
And after the turkey was done cooking...

Yummm yummm yumm! :D It was sooo moist and juicy and yummy!
Then we have some pictures during the baking process.
:D I would love to hear about everyone's thanksgiving and what you guys ate! We went up to my cousin's house and because we're greek they made a lot of greek cookies and domathas! Yum yum! I had a great Thanksgiving because I got to spend it with all of my family this year..well almost all of them. I got to spend it with all of my cousins, my parents, my aunt, my uncles, my popou, my yia yia, my boyfriend, and all of our old and new friends! :)
I hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend, I'll probably post another blog tomorrow. My cousin's and Josh are supposed to come over Saturday and Sunday...and Sunday we're going to venture to the park! :) I'll try to remember to take some pictures!...I'm really bad at remembering to take pictures lol..but I'm trying to get better!
I'm tired so I'm going to head to bed now!
Thank you for anyone who cared enough to read all this random nonsense lol.
Goodnight! :)

One last thing, I read a quote that my old religion teacher just posted on her facebook, she's the sweetest and I really needed to hear it. I hope it'll help someone else as well!
"Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain." ~Author Unknown
