The Walking Dead

Good evening everyone!

So I wanted to tell you all about The Walking Dead. Josh has been watching it pretty much since it first aired on tv, and he's been after me for forever to watch it and finally I heard so much good about it I was like okay why not? I started watching it the other week and I just finished season 2...and let me say...everyone MUST watch this show. I am not one who keeps up with tv shows or anything like that. I'm very picky with what ongoing tv shows I watch, but this one is a totally different story.

First off...don't watch this movie if you are sqeemish, it's a show about zombies eating people. If you're not one for cussing, this show is pretty good with that...few cuss words here and there but never anything serious...more gore than anything. The other week someone asked..."It's a show about zombies, how much can they really write about that? Is it just a bunch of people running from them all the time...doesn't it get boring?" NO! The writers of the show are fantastic...there are very few "cheesy" parts and everything ties in together very well. It's not just...oh zombies (walkers as the show calls them) are chasing us, everyone run! They meet people, they go different places, they run from other survivors trying to stay alive, and it's just really fantastic writing...it's a show that is literally never boring and it gets better the more you watch it. 

The acting in this show is fantastic...I literally can not watch anything with bad acting because it bugs me too much. They did a fantastic job casting...even the little kids in the movie are great. The costumes and effects aren't terrible either...you can tell they spent money on the show. They're not entirely realistic, but for the most part they're pretty good...it's not cheesy graphics just put it that way. I think if it were too realistic it would be really hard to watch because they like bash zombies heads in with their knives, guns, feet, screw drivers, pretty much anything that's laying around. 

Everyone who's into these kinds of shows needs to watch it...even if you're not into those kinds of shows need to watch it. It's cleverly written and there's twists and turns throughout the whole entire show. I am so glad that Josh told me to watch it because it really is a fantastic show. Take it from me because I hate "following" tv shows of any kind normally. It has to be something really good to keep my attention for this long. 

I hope you guys check it out...from the beginning obviously, don't start in the middle of the series...and let me know what you think of it. :)
