Snow!

Good afternoon all of my fellow friends!
Yes! Today it snowed! That's always exciting...unfortunately I am not as excited as I normally am about it because Josh isn't coming over tonight from all the "snow traffic" and all that nonsense. Tonight I made some yummy hamburger patties with cheese in the middle :) yum yum yummmm! Then I sauteed some broccoli and a red bell pepper. (not pictured) :D

I went to the store with my mom today after work and I got Izzy's Organic Blue Agave...and guys...you HAVE to get this...it's better than sugar and it's better for you! It even says on the back that it's good for most diabetics so if that's something you struggle with I recommend this! It's SO good!
Also! My Josh started college last Thursday! I am SO proud of him :) He's still working five days a week and taking college classes. :) He's paying for all of his classes and books himself and I am just so proud of him. He is such a wonderful man and I love him so much!
I finally called the college I want to go to today and scheduled an appointment on Tuesday to take a look around the school and talk about the admissions stuff...so that's good I guess. I was really stressed about it and now I definitely feel a lot better. :)
On to some movies that I watched this week...I watched "Jeff, Who Lives at Home" with Josh. It has Jason Segel whom Josh and I both love and it has Ed Helms who I think is from The Office (I absolutely hate that show.) BUT! This movie was really fantastic! It's one of those kinda "inspiring" movies that make you just feel great at the end. It's definitely very funny, but it does have it's serious moments. It does have quite a bit of cussing from what I can remember, but if you can get past that it's a fantastic movie...and yes...I cried at the end. Two thumbs up! Go watch it! It's on Netflix :)

Also, I watched Momento with Josh, starring Guy Pearce and the girl who plays Trinity in The Matrix (which if you have never watched The Matrix...shame on you) . This movie is a good movie, but it's definitely VERY confusing until like the last ten minutes of the movie and then everything is explained. My brain literally melted watching this movie...it exploded...like...
Josh even had to explain a little bit of the ending to me because my brain was just so fried by the end of it all. But this movie is put together very well and it's extremely interesting. Everyone does a really fantastic acting job as well..which if you haven't noticed by now is like my biggest thing about movies..if there's bad acting I pretty much can't watch it or even begin to take it seriously. I can't really remember if this has a lot of cussing in it ..I think it has some. It's definitely one of those movies that throws a twist in every like fifteen minutes which I personally enjoy. This is also on Netflix and I do recommend that you go watch this :)
Next movie!
I watched Vanilla Sky on Wednesday, starring Tom Cruise...and if anyone doesn't know..I am a big Tom Cruise fan. This movie is another movie kind of like Momento...my mind exploded...but it wasn't so big..it was more like..
but...don't get me wrong...your brain fries with this movie too. Tom Cruise plays a psycho guy towards the end of the movie and Cameron Diaz in it too and she plays a psycho too. Also I think Penelope Cruz is in it as well and she plays the sweet girl next door kind of thing..I don't care for her much but that's besides the point..haha. Anyways Tom Cruise is already kinda crazy in real life so he played that part really well and Cameron Diaz did a really good job in this movie in my opinion. This is also a very interesting movie and I would recommend you watch it..but it's not something I would be like you HAVE to watch this like now... but if you're bored and don't know what else to watch...this is the first thing I would recommend...I'd give it like three or four stars... so I mean...it's good...but it's not like...amazing. Lol. I'm gonna shut up now.
Oh and it's on Netflix :)
Also...I watched Flashdance for the first time this week! "But how could you not have watched Flashdance before, that movie is a classic!" I know I know! That's why I watched it...lol. Alright so...in all honesty..I was expecting a little more from this movie. I feel like it's almost implausible...like..an 18 year old girl...who is a welder by day..exotic dancer at night. Lives alone in an old warehouse...her like mid 30s boss falls in love with her. Where is this girl's parents for one? and for two why didn't granny say something to her like..girl, get your head together. I know granny was like ..oh go apply for that ballet school but seriously...no. This girl was like so bipolar too...one second she's like...yay me and then the next she's like....forget you and let me throw a rock through the beautiful window in your million dollar mansion...great way to lose a guy! Anyways...the "idea" of this movie is nice...like a girl who aspires to be a professional ballet dancer at this prestigious school, but she doesn't really know if she has what it takes and she tries and makes it. It's a good story and the dancing is...interesting? It's a classic so go watch it, but really I probably won't watch it again...and one more thing to complain about! The guy got her an audition with the school and when she finds out she flips out....if he didn't get you the audition you wouldn't have gotten it to begin with so quit your complaining and learn some manners and simply say..thank you. Oh and the dog was cute :)
And of course...it's on Netflix.
Alright so that's pretty much all I have to say for tonight! I will write again soon!
Thank you everyone who reads these blogs..I really appreciate it! :D
Have a wonderful night! :)
