Good afternoon everyone!
My mother and I checked out a whole foods place the floridness other day and we decided that we were going to start going more "natural" with a lot of our products that we use on an every day basis. We changed our toothpaste to Tom's fluoride free toothpaste...and it doesn't taste too swell BUT it leaves my mouth feeling reallllyyy clean and Ma agrees with me on that as well.
Another way I have been trying to go more natural is making my own deodorant. I know what everyone is thinking..what? Make your own deodorant? Yes! Let me tell you ..it works!! This is the recipe that I used. Recipe Here!
It's very simple to make and it literally takes a few minutes. After I put it on I patted it with a towel and then waited for it to dry because it has coconut oil in it so I don't want it to leave a mark on my clothes are anything. I have been working allllll day and it's been warm today and it stays! It's wonderful and there's nothing harmful in it whatsoever. :)
Then I made my mom some eye cream out of coconut oil and Vitamin E. I can't find the site that for the recipe I used but that's all that I put in there. Make sure it's pure unrefined coconut oil. :) And I just used vitamin E pills that I poked holes in. I used about four tablespoons of coconut oil and 3 vitamin E pills. My mom said she put it on this morning and she loves it. It looks really good too and it made the area around her eyes look really smooth!
Anddd! I have been trying to cure my acne with extra virgin olive oil. I have been hearing for years how good this is for your skin and I've finally had enough and I've been trying it since yesterday and I already see a difference in my face. Here's how to do it :) Click here! I've been doing it a little differently just because I'm kind of afraid to leave the oil on my face...but even if you don't, you can still feel how hydrating and great it is for your skin!
Also I've been trying to make my hair grow faster so I have been doing a number of things. I found this girl on youtube named Farah Dhukai. Her hair is gorgeous! So I've decided to follow her hair remedies for growing hair faster. Here's the video :) Click here for the video! I do all the treatments, but the hot oil treatment..but that's only because I don't have the right kind of container for it. She has a bunch of fantastic videos on a lot of other stuff so I definitely suggest checking out her channel :) But I have been using the Rosemary and water leave in conditioner, the apple cider vinegar and peppermint oil rinse, and the coconut oil and peppermint oil or rosemary oil (or both) deep conditioner.
If anyone tries ANY of this stuff or if anyone knows anything like this that you're interested in, I would love to hear! :D
Thank you everyone for reading and I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
