Heavy Rain!

Hello all of my blog friends!
Merry (late) Christmas to all of you, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas...and if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you had a wonderful day! If anyone is interested I will post a blog about what I got for Christmas soon.
I am sorry that I have not been writing as many blogs as I usually do, there has been a lot going on lately. Josh is still sick and he's been to the doctor and the hospital twice and they're still not certain what is wrong with him. He's doing a lot better than he was but he still has a recurring fever and he broke out in a rash from coming off one of the medicines prescribed to him earlier in the week. :/ So if I may ask all of you guys to keep in your prayers because I am quite worried about him. :( I really appreciate any little prayer said.

For the main reason of this blog now... I finished Heavy Rain today and I figured everyone would want to hear about it lol. I am quite upset because I ended up killing all four of my characters and I was trying really hard not to...I was trying to get a happy ending and I just got a sad one, haha. Anyways, to my surprise I really liked this game...wayyy more than I was expecting to. Anyone who reads my blogs or who knows me know that I don't like a lot of cinematic games...which is what this game is. But this game is more of a fast paced cinematic game with a very captivating story...which makes up for any of the "button smashing" I can't do in the game lol. The only bad thing about it was not even the game itself, it was something that I did beforehand that kinda ruined the beginning for me. I watched a good chunk of a gameplay to this game before buying it...and the story in the beginning is always the same.. it's only in the end that it starts to change.  So word of advice..do not watch the gameplay before playing this game...and if you do only watch a couple minutes of it and not half of the game like I did. Like I said before, this game is fast paced in the sense of you really need to know where all the buttons on the controller is before you play this game (unless you're using playstation move...then I don't know how that works), especially when you're fighting because the buttons are thrown up on the screen and you're expected to push them in a certain amount of time. It kinda reminds me of how God of War is with it's fighting, just a lot more buttons are thrown in...and a lot more combination buttons are as well. A lot of the time throughout the game you have to push and hold down like four or five buttons at once and your fingers get all mashed together and twisted and that's the only non-enjoyable thing I experienced through this game. Also I want to add that this game reminds me of the Sims, but with an actual storyline. You can see their thoughts and you can tell them what to do and what not, but you can actually move them around yourself in this game unlike in the Sims. I really like how in this game you get to be four different people and see the same story from different views and what not. It's a very well put together game and I DEFINITELY recommend it to everyone...even if you normally don't go for games like this just try it anyways because I was pleasantly surprised. Don't play like ten minutes and decide that it's not for you...this game gets so interesting the further in you get. It really is a fantastic game.. and if anything the graphics are really really good and it's like you're watching a movie.
Now that I finished that game I am on the search for another "older" game so that I don't have to pay a lot of money. As of now I have been checking out Uncharted 3, Infamous, Bioshock, any of the Mass Effects, and even Skyrim. If anyone has anything to share on the matter feel free. I am always looking for new stuff to play. :)
Thank you for reading!
Once again if you could please keep my Josh in your prayers...it's very appreciated!
