Hello everyone!
I know..I know...."Christina..when are you going to stop slacking with your blog?" ...I'm sorry guys! I'm trying to be better with it. Lol.
Alright...first off! I went to Carrabba's last night with Josh!
Josh and I have been wanting to go here for forever now and we went bowling with his office buddies yesterday and it was right across the street so we thought...why not?! I have nothing but good things to say about this place...it's cute, cozy, it smells wonderful, the bread was fantastic, the food was absolutely great, and the service was really great...except for the hostess lol..BUT! My ONLY complaint...is the serving size! The side salad was like a small handfull of lettuce...which is okay..cause it's a "side" salad..but...the main course..I got the manicotti and they literally gave me two delicious pasta rolls filled with cheese...which I wouldn't even mind, but it was 14 dollars! I want more food for that much money! They're lucky that the food tastes so good or I would have had a big problem with that. Hahah...also, it was pretty filling considering it was pasta and cheese..leaving just enough room for dessert!..but not there..there's really not much of a selection. We went to Coldstone ;)
Today Josh and I went to a mall that we haven't went to before and we ate at Red Robin.
Josh and I ate there for about 20 dollars and they give you "bottomless" steak fries..and certain drinks as well! The burgers are AMAZING! Probably the best burger I've ever had...even better than Five Guys (sorry Five Guys). It was so good...I almost got a chocolate milkshake...but I resisted!! I'm trying to be good, lol.
The next thing! I have recently picked up reading...I get stressed about things really easily and think about things way to much..so I was like " maybe reading will help get my mind off life." And it does! I've never been into reading before, but I went to the library with my mom and I have been determined to make myself read! This was the first book I read ... The Walking Dead: Rise of the Governor...since you all know how much I love the Walking Dead. This book is so so so awesome..if you're into the Walking Dead I highly recommend this movie. It blew my mind and I understand where the Governor comes from so much better now. It's definitely not a boring book either..every chapter is exciting..the only part it gets a little slow is the last chapter, but the ending is like BAM! It's awesome....please someone else read it and share in my amazement to this book.
Currently I am reading "The Stand' by Stephen King. I've been reading it for a couple days now...and I'm still not halfway through it..it's a big book! I don't know of much else they can do with the story right now ...but my mom said she's read it and said there's a twist in the book so I'm waiting for it! So far though it's a really great, interesting, and intense book..and it's totally plausible which makes it scary. I've never read Stephen King before, but so far he's a really awesome writer! :) More to come when I finish that. :)
The next thing I want to talk about is just a rant...I watch QVC..... a lot...don't judge me..but anyways! Last night before I went to bed it was past 12 and they had the new "Today's Special Value" on and it's Wen. You know that miraculous over priced cleanser and conditioner for your hair...yeah..every time I see it I just want to throw something at the screen. I want this miraculous stuff....and I'm assuming that it's miraculous from the before and after pictures of the models and the quality of their hair and what not...but I am NOT spending 58 dollars for a 32 ounce bottle of JUST conditioner...heck no.. I could get a 32 ounce bottle of shampoo and conditioner at walmart for no more than 8 dollars!..and it could even be the "organic" kind. If Chaz Dean...the creator of Wen...wanted to really help "change the hair world!" then he should at least make it affordable... I mean come on..I went into Sephora the other day and was looking at his stuff and a little tiny spray bottle is like 32 dollars...no...just no....and another thing! You have to use 20 pumps for long hair....20 pumps!!!! Ain't nobody got time for that!!!! You should just unscrew the top and pour it in your hand for that matter. I don't know...if anyone has tried this stuff please tell me if it's even worth it...I must know. My cousin said she had tried it, but that's literally the only person I know who has tried it.
Anyone who knows me...knows that I loveeee Starbucks..but recently what I normally get has been making me sick...like the smell of it makes me nauseous :( so I kind of had to switch up a little bit. So I went for something a little more simple...Black tea sweetened... guys...if you have never tried it..you should. It's SO good! It's just the right amount of sweetness...and you can still taste the tea. I don't like when you get sweet tea and all you can taste is the sugar... I don't want to drink sugar. Also...if you don't fancy such simple things...try Green Tea with 1 pump of caramel.....oh it's sooooo good. My mom got it the other day and it's so yummy. I know it sounds weird, but seriously..just try it.
AND WHAT THE HECK! Today was just so freakin busy out! There were so many people on the road and in stores...and just UGH! Plaease, if anyone knows why everyone decided to go out today...let me know...I want to be prepared for the next time this happens!..When Josh and I went to the mall today we were getting so stressed from it...we came home and just basked in the silence. We're such old people...hahaha. :) I LOVE YOU JOSH! :D
I think that's all for now! I shall write a blog soon...hopefully anyways..lol I'm trying to stay up on things... I have no motivation whatsoever...I posted a status on Facebook the other day saying "I have the motivation of a piece of bread." And good Lord is that true.
Thanks for reading! :)
Have a great night!
